Harvey Taft Productions is an independent Film & TV production company, specialising in quality drama, comedy and documentary. Founded in 1995, Harvey Taft draws upon over 50 years of combined industry experience from its principals, Michael Harvey and David Taft.
ProductionsHarvey Taft’s initial production was the television drama series State Coroner, devised by Michael Harvey and produced by Harvey Taft (with Crawfords Australia) for Network TEN. Starring Wendy Hughes and Bob Baines, the program ran for two years, was Network TEN’S top rating drama for 1997 and 1998, and received both AWGIE and AFI nominations for 1997. More recently, Harvey Taft produced the ABC-TV drama mini-series, Dirt Game, about a UK CEO of an Australian mining firm. Written by Michael Harvey, the series was directed by Grant Brown and Brendan Maher (Spooks), and won the Australian Directors Guild Award for 2009.
