• Is committed to high standards of clinical practice of acupuncture and Chinese medicine.
• Promotes acupuncture and Chinese medicine as a healthcare choice for all New Zealanders.
• Continues to work with other Chinese medicine professional organisations and the Ministry of Health as we move toward regulation under the HPCA Act (2003).
• Advocates for members through professional development, guidance and support. 

Acupuncture NZ is a member of the World Federation on Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS), World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS) and has strong affiliations with acupuncture associations in Australia, China, USA, Britain and throughout Europe.
