Life's first trip to MLG is bound to be very productive as the youngster marches towards another trophy with only Leenock standing in his way.
Life earned his grand final spot after two nail-biting series against Flash. The "Ultimate Weapon" had him in the round of six after capitalizing on a few mistakes of Life and playing a very defensive macro style that seemed efficient against zerg's aggression. Their extended series in the semi-finals, however, told a different tale. A combination of 10-pools, ling raids, muta techs and late-game brood lords flocks struck Flash with a lethal blow. Losing four games in a row meant the end of KT's terran's run in MLG.
On the other side of the bracket, Leenock too had to play the same person twice - Bomber. StarTale's terran tried really hard making up for an entertaining series but ultimately Leenock was classes above - the reigning champion advanced to fight and defend his crown.
The final match is a standard Best of 7, awarding $25,000 to the winner and $15,000 to the runner-up.
