Local Hong Kong Tropical Cyclone Tracking Map

This map is designed to be used with the Tropical Cyclone Wind Distribution Scaling Tool printed below (directions for use found at:  Wind-Zone Scaling Tool) designed by Carl Smith. An example of an animation created using this tool can be seen at Animated map of Typhoon Sam's Direct hit on HK, 22/8/99.

This map is Copyright, but may be downloaded and printed by any enthusiasts who want to use it to track cyclones in the Hong Kong area.
In Internet Explorer under Windows 95 or 98, right-click the map you want and choose "Save Picture As ,,," and save the file to your hard disk. 
Then you may print it any time you want from whatever program you use to view GIF files, by choosing "File" and "Print" and setting your page orientation to Landscape and choosing "Fit To Page".

In other browsers or for other operating systems, follow the directions described in "Help" for your browser.

These maps may not be copied for any other purpose or for use on any other web-site or in any publication without express permission of the copyright owners.
