What Argument?

Scaffolding for a group preparation of a debate. Arguments for and against seven topics plus a frame work for oral presentations. Designed to build confidence in presentational talk after group planning using exploratory talk. Presentations can be practised in small groups beforepresenting before larger groups. Later they can be written.

Old and New Compound Nouns

A sorting activity examining how some old compounds nouns (tramline) are back in fashion, others (bedbug) never go away, while others (treadmill) languish and slowly become extinct unless teased into metaphor.
