About Us

Who we are

The Connecting Up program supports Australian and New Zealand not-for-profits to build stronger communities through the use of technology. Since 2007, a growing list of leading tech companies have partnered with Connecting Up to support the sector with donated and discounted IT products and online learning.

Connecting Up is free to join and access. Over 35,000 not-for-profit members rely on the program to supply them with best-in-market prices on cloud-based products, hardware, software and training.

The Connecting Up program is powered by Infoxchange, a leading not-for-profit social enterprise dedicated to using technology to improve the lives of people experiencing disadvantage and the organisations that support them.

Our Volunteers

Connecting Up has a Volunteer Program to engage volunteers to assist in various aspects of Connecting Up operations.

Volunteers may assist in areas including data collection, updating critical information and other tasks relating to events, marketing and administration.

Volunteers work both on-site or remotely by completing tasks online. Volunteer opportunities can be found via Volunteering SA & NT or apply by emailing us a copy of your current resume and cover letter explaining why you would like to join our volunteer team to the Community Information Coordinator at cm@connectingup.org.

Connecting Up is operated in partnership with TechSoup. Together, we facilitate access to the best technology available to NFPs, Civil Society Organisations, and Foundations in Australia, thus strengthening the civil sector and helping organisations fulfil their mission and increase their impact.

The TechSoup Global Network consists of 60+ of the world's leading civil society organisations that partner to improve lives globally through the use of technology. Together, these partners manage a range of capacity-building programs that serve communities in nearly every region of the world. All partners are leading civil society organisations and manage a range of capacity building programs in their countries. In addition, they tailor TechSoup’s programs to their local needs and contribute back to the greater Global Network’s expertise. Connecting Up has been a member of the TechSoup Global Network since 2007.

TechSoup equips changemakers with transformative technology solutions and skills they need to improve lives globally and locally. Whether you have resources to give or in need of solutions, TechSoup facilitates the exchange. TechSoup provides both the digital platforms and in-person experiences that enable people to work together toward a more equitable world. Learn more about TechSoup.
